Egschiglen’s conservatory training and their respect for Mongolia’s history and culture has resulted in an intriguing blend of traditional and contemporary music. The seven person group exhibit an enchanting power with superb “Khoomii” (overtone) style singing, while their instrumental arrangements at times achieve a chamber-music quality and transparency.
