This work was first staged as 'performance theatre'at the annual art festival at Lolland, Denmark, in the presence of bothlibrettist and composer, and the recording was made with the same artists. In one of the first operas of the newmillennium, the subject is appropriately the end of the world - after which,the rats are laughing!
