Highly successful, disco-soul singer from Philadelphia who had a series of million-selling hits in the late 1970’s - including “Shame”, “I don’t Know If It’s Right” and “Smooth Talk”. She continued with further chart activity in the early 80’s, working with House producer in 1988. She made an album for the UK Expansion label in 1990. The compilation, now deleted on UK release, is still available from Discovery on import
