Duke Robillard is the founder of Roomful of Blues, and a former member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds. For the last two years, he has won the W.C. Handy Award for "Blues Guitarist of The Year". He has been a session-musician for Bob Dylan ("Time Out of Mind"), Jimmy Witherspoon, Ruth Brown, Johnny Adams, Billy Boy Arnold, Jay McShann, Rosco Gordon, and many more.

Now, he's back with a power-house blues CD : covering some of the lesser known classics by B.B.King, Little Milton, Bobby Bland, Freddie King and Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and giving them the no-holds-barred Robillard treatment with scorching guitar and powerful vocals. This is his first all-blues outing since the best-selling "Duke's Blues" in 1994, and a follow-up to his mostly blues-based 1999 Dixiefrog album "La Palette Bleue" (DFGCD 8486).
