The band, on various tracks, featuring: Art Pepper, Herb Geller, Jimmy Knepper, Red Callender, Herb Stewart, Buddy Childers, Ronny Lang, etc. He was a composer, arranger, trombonist & vocalist who greatly admired Stan Kenton, and even briefly 'inherited' some of his band .
