Fascinating historic recording, possibly the first country music concert put on tape in Australia. Slim Dusty toured the country for many years with his travelling show. In 1956, neckerchief and stetson in keeping with his image as Australia's singing cowboy, he played a show in Townsville, Queensland.The set includes "Pub With No Beer" which, when later recorded as a single, earned him a gold record.
