This is a reissue of Howard Werth's second 'solo' project, originally recorded for his own Metabop label in 1985, in conjunction with Jake Riviera, Elvis Costello's manager. Werth was the guitarist-songwriter-leader of the cult late 60's UK band Audience (whose debut album with extra tracks has also just been re-released on Disconforme).

Following the disbanding of Audience in 1972, he immediately formed Howard Werth & The Moonbeams and recorded the album "King Brilliant" (also now reissued by Disconforme, with a rare extra track). He then lived in Los Angeles for many years: working with The Doors, after Jim Morrison's death; with members of Captain Beefheart's Magic Band; and producing the first recordings by X, West Coast proto-punk band, later produced by Ray Manzarek.

This album features, amongst others, Lu Edmonds & Billy Bremner on guitars, Steve Nieve on keyboards, and Carlene Carter, backing vocals.

Howard more recently formed his own 4-D Light label, set up 2 recording studios in London and is starting to perform live again.
