This is the big man in his element - loud, raw and direct - recorded live in his home town, New York City of course, on May 29th 1999, with his band: Kris Jefferson on bass and Paul Richards, drums; and they serve up a classic set of hard, driving modern blues, mixed with rock, rap, soul, and rock 'n' roll.
