Chicago-born singer Patty Clark was a star in the States through the 1960's - including her own show on NBC, a season with Johnny Desmond in  "The Glenn Miller Show" on CBS TV, working with Bob Hope and picking up an Emmy Award.

She left the limelight to bring up a family, but has now returned to make a superb, relaxed album of well-chosen classic standards, ballads and jazz-tinged swing titles at the legendary Capitol Studios with a magnificent 55-piece orchestra, including a large string-section, with fine arrangements by producer / conductor Lou Forestieri.

Patty Clark proves she is still a first-class vocalist in the tradition of Dinah Shore, Rosemary Clooney and Peggy Lee on this beautifully engineered, high-quality recording, featuring the cream of West Coast session musicians.
