A new album from Ben Andrews, his 4^th on the Railway / Powerhouse label, and following last year's highly successful UK tour culminating in a truly memorable set at Bishopstock, one of the hits of the Festival. He has just been voted Best Overseas Male Blues Artist of the Year in Blues in Britain magazine.

Ben is from Washington D.C. and has been active at clubs & festivals in the U.S., for over 20 years, and more recently a regular visitor to the UK and Europe. He is a widely acclaimed acoustic guitarist and singer, working mainly in the Delta country blues tradition, and acknowledged for his stunning authenticity.

On this album, recorded in the States, Ben is joined by blues stalwarts, Mark Wenner on harmonica, and Jeff Sarli on acoustic bass, with Larry Willis on piano. They lay down a tight, swinging, acoustic blues set that includes material by  Broonzy, Leadbelly, Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Johnson, Kokomo Arnold, and John Lee Hooker.
