Little is known of Catalonian composer Carlos Baguer, except that he spent 22 years of his short life as organist at the cathedral in his native city of Barcelona. These pioneering ENSAYO recordings of three of his 'sinfonías', made in 1985, will be warmly welcomed back to the catalogue by all lovers of the classical symphony.
