UK pianist Geoff Eales presents a new album of 'tributes' to Monk, Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner and The Great American Song Book (Berlin, Cole Porter, Victor Young, Oscar Levant, etc). Eales has worked with a long list of jazz names over the years, including: Mancini, Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Rosemary Clooney, Teddy Edwards & Buddy Tate. He is joined on this disc by the highly respected UK bass master, Roy Babbington (Soft Mackine, Nucleus, etc) and drummer Mark Fletcher, house drummer at Ronnie Scott's since 1995, working with more stars than there's room to print.
