Elysium originated in the western suburbs of Sydney in 1997when a few schoolfriends kicked around the idea of recreating the music oftheir favourite band Silverchair. Theydid gigs with the guest appearance of Amanda Brown of the Go Betweens onviolin, They got press and TVappearances. They recorded this toughbut thoughtful power pop-rock album in 2002 - produced by Silverchairbassist Chris Joannou.
