Kim Sinh is a seventy year old Vietnamese guitar virtuoso who has begun to attract 'fans' among rock & jazz musicians in the USA, and around the world.

The unique music he plays on his specially modified Spanish guitar, originated in the theatres of Vietnam in the early part of the century, and drew from many genres and styles, including: popular song, jazz, Western Classical, as well as their own musical traditions.

On this CD Kim Sinh, who is also a composer and teacher, also plays Hawaiian guitar, Vietnamese guitar, violin, and the 'moon lute'. He is accompanied on most tracks by his son Kim Thang.
