New album by the sitar master Shivu Taralagatti, with Allamprabhu Kadkol on the tablas. The sitarist plays alone at first, generating the language of the raga, giving it body and soul. He then invites his partner to join in with the tala (rhythm) and tempo he has chosen. Highly attuned to each other, they perform "Jhinjhoti", an evening raga expressing eroticism, "Bihari", a pleasant raga as yet rarely recorded, "Kaunsi Kanada", a mixed raga, and "Misra Pilu", full of twists and turns.
