Long time song thrush with the Lucky Millinder orchestra known for sassy interpretations of blues and popular standards. Introduced by the bandleader as a 'red-hot tamale from San Antonio' (although she came from Ohio).
Rare collection of recordings made under her own name though often accompanied by Millinder band members.
