· Following the decision of The Police to reform for a world tour, including the UK, and the resulting renewed public interest and press coverage, we are reissuing this Stewart Copeland album, with the recommendation that it is stocked in Rock sections with the other Police titles. · "Orchestralli" is a double album (CD + DVD) of inventive jazz-based pieces by the famous Police drummer, Stewart Copeland who has steadily built a widely-praised career as composer, arranger, film soundtrack writer, and co-ordinator of multi-genre projects in a number of artistic fields. · This album was recorded on tour in Rome, Milan, Turin & Bologna - with a 20-piece band made up of : the Ensemble Bash quartet; sax soloist Amedeo Bianchi; Judd Miller on assorted roots horns; and Orchestra Ueca, conducted by Robert Ziegler. · The Copeland compositions featured include: "Our Mother Is Alive" from the Francis Ford Coppola film "Rumblefish"; his theme music for the "Equalizer" TV series; "The Gene Pool" written for Ensemble Bash; "Birds of Pray", a ballet commission; "Eve" and "Grace", written for his daughters; and "Stalin's Sultry Serenade", composed for the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, in 1993.
