Live recording taken from Nov 2000 Lisbon concert by three of Portugal's best traditional female singers, organised by poet and dramatist Tiago Torres da Silva, who co-wrote some of the songs. Accompanied by guitar and percussion the three capture the essential, various elements of Portuguese song which have sailed around the world, to Brazil and Cape Verde, then returned home again in new forms.
