Baritone sax player Bob Gordon died tragically, aged 27, in a car accident in 1955, before realizing his true potential, but leaving behind a rich recorded legacy.  This mid-price Lonehill double CD contains the material from 4 studio albums on which he featured.

This remastered issue covers his complete output with trombonist Herbie Harper and tenor sax player Jack Montrose, and covers 7 studio sessions and almost 2.5 hours of music that has never been edited together on one release.

Reviews
Jazz Rag - Nic Jones
It reveals a musician who more than held his own against the likes of his contemporary Gerry Mulligan. Now that this music is back out there once again there's cause for celebration.
