Paulinho da Viola is one of the most respected musicians in Brazil - a gifted singer, guitarist and composer who from the early 60's had a pronounced effect upon the development of the Samba tradition. This new album is full of warm vocals, beautiful guitar playing and beguiling rhythms.

There are guest performances from Marisa Monte, Amelia Rabello, Elton Medeiros, and several others. The title track was used on a hugely popular documentary on Brazilian TV.
