Succulent packaging containing a real gem of well-crafted pop, performed by a young duo comprising of Garin, a musician as adept at the guitar as behind a piano or computer keyboard, and Charlotte, a vocalist of bright and sensuous tone. Although both are French, the lyrics are delivered in English with full texts in the booklet.

The songs revolve around a general melancholy theme of love and loss, but the tempo of the album is more uplifting than morose. It is the kind of work which requires some input to pick out the real quality, an investment which is well rewarded once familiarity enters.

A beautiful album, right up there with some of those from whom these young artists have drawn early influence; new Order, Massive Attack, the Cure etc…
