The trumpeting Candoli brothers’ first recordings together. Two of their early LPs, cut in LA 1957/58, the second punningly titled “Bell Book and Candoli”……they had appeared in a nightclub scene in the movie “Bell, Book and Candle” and also played on the soundtrack. With Jimmy Rowles on piano, Barney Kessel taking over guitar duties from Howard Roberts on the second session .
