| Georges Auric is well known as a skillful composer for wind instruments, however his Five Bagatelles are the flautist’s own arrangement of pieces taken from Auric’s stage works. Georges Barboteu, more widely known as a horn player but prolific as a composer as well, has written his Burlesque especially for the Trio Quantz. The trio by Beethoven is a delightful work that deserves to be better known. The music of Piazzolla turns up in many different guises; here sounding quite at home in this arrangement by Frédéric Barboteu.
