A previously unissued, 21 track, live album by the immaculate Leon Redbone - recorded at famous The Olympia theatre in Paris in October 1992. Since his recording debut in 1976 (and as a performer since 1970) the idiosyncratic singer-guitarist with the trademark shades, fedora hat, moustache and Southern gentleman white suit he has enthralled listeners and audiences the world over with his affectionate, laid-back recreations of early jazz numbers, blues, ragtime, novelty songs, and popular standards.

The man, who keeps his early life shrouded in mystery, has a large, dedicated following and this live selection of old favourites and ‘new’ additions will be enthusiastically received by them. There was another Leon Redbone live album, “Live & Kickin” released in early 2004 on the US Lemon label, but it has only 4 tracks in common with this one, so they make a good complementary pair.

Leon Redbone is due to visit the UK, for several weeks in May to do some interviews and arrange some concerts later this year.
