Erling Blöndal Bengtsson, now in his early seventies, was a boy wonder (he gave his first public recital aged 3!) and is already a living legend, celebrated in his native Denmark and the whole Western world as an outstanding cellist. This coupling of the Chopin and Grieg sonatas, strangely quite rare, is already receiving critical plaudits, as a worthy successor to his many other excellent discs for DANACORD.
