Revolving around two generations of the Odametey family, the members of the Ghanaian group Adesa are from the Ga people, traditionally fishermen and sailors, who live on the outskirts of Accra. Both the sound of the streets and of the seashore can be heard in their songs which have their roots in traditional courtly music…… played on korlegorno, flute, horns, water kalabasses and balafon.
