Another youthful choir from LAMMAS, this time the Chapel Choir of University College Durham, with a varied sequence of music unified by the Passiontide theme, recorded in York Minster. In 2004, this undergraduate choir beat off international competition to win the ‘Schott Musik International Youth Choir Award’ at the Edinburgh Festival, directed (as on this CD) by Organ Scholar David Jackson (aged 22). Let’s hear it, for the young!
