The unique style of singer/songwriter Caetano Veloso is undeniably Brazilian but he has been described as a combination of John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Dylan Thomas and Stevie Wonder – and then some. This concert, from the Metropolitan in Rio de Janeiro, features Veloso singing classic Hispanic songs from the 1940s and 50s, presented in his own, very personal, way. He appears with an orchestra conducted by his long-serving musical director Jaques Morelenbaum.
