“See You In A Minute” is a tribute to Don Cherry - now released on the new Swedish label Country & Eastern, following the10th Anniversary of his death in October 2005. The idea was conceived by Bengt Berger, a former Don Cherry sideman, who was going through some old tapes of Don’s concerts with the 2 other members of his trio, Jonas Knutsson & Christian Spering. They picked a handful of favourite pieces and the musicians they wanted: Christer Bothén, Per Tjernberg and Sigge Krantz who all worked with Don. They also invited: Thomas Gustafsson, Mats Öberg and Lars Almqvist. In addition, Neneh and Eagle-Eye Cherry were guests on several of the recorded tracks.

The result is this exceptional album : the title track of which is a 30 minute suite to and from Don Cherry. Plus : eight of the finest songs he used to play: Moki’s Saxophone / Clicky Clacky / AC/DC / Ganesh / El Corazón / Fun / Dina Kana Gina / God Is At The Door. Neneh and Eagle-Eye sing on three of them.
