Reissue of their 1993 studio album, recorded in Belgium. Bratsch are a highly-respected 5-man French gypsy band formed in 1972, who play traditional European folk, with many influences from Arabic to South America, but with an especially strong Balkan / Central Europe style. The basic instrumental line-up is : accordion, clarinet, violin, guitar & double bass. They usually write their own material, or adapt pieces to their own style, rather than slavishly reproducing historical folk songs.
