The stunning Claire-Marie has just played a major London date, which should whet the British musical public’s appetite for this first release in a new series, in which she juxtaposes piano music by two great – perhaps the two greatest - ‘classical’ composers. The series is being created in collaboration with Marc Vignal, a French writer who has written a definitive reference book on Haydn and Mozart, and this first CD contains superb performances of one early and one late work by each composer.
