Latest album by the Jamaican insitution, The Gladiators - founded by Albert Griffiths in 1967. His two sons Al (vocals) and Anthony (drums) are well to the fore, and this maybe (as the title implies) father Albert’s last album before handing over to the younger generation. Yet, after almost 40 years there’s no loss of quality - this is a highly satisfying rhythmic, melodic roots reggae album, with strong vocals and fine musicianship from top Jamaican session players including Dwight Pinkney, Dean Fraser and Bongo Herman.
