Serge Adam (trumpet), Philippe Botta (flutes) & accordeonist David Venitucci are joined by zarb player Bijan Chemirani, whose family have for generations been masters of Persian percussion. With Chemirani providing intricate rhythms, the three instrumentalists take Turkish and Eastern European tunes and expand on the themes with carefully interlocking improvisations.
