A reissue of Lee Konitz’s 1992 album for the Norwegian Odin label, on which the alto sax legend joins a Norse trio of alto/baritone, piano & double bass for a series of amazing interpretations of Tristano school material - including 3 jazz standards - plus two new Konitz pieces, and three by band members. There are 7 studio tracks, and 3 live numbers recorded at Farsund Jazzklubb. Konitz' sax duets with John Pål Inderberg are especially impressive.
