Jerome Ricard is a young, award-winning accordionist with breath-taking virtuosity. He was born in the Maine & Loire region in 1980, and studied with Frederic Deschamps. He has worked with Charles Trenet, Toto Cutugno, Diana Hamilton, Robin di Maggio, Pascal Sevran, etc. He is accompanied here by Jean-Francois Rossi - a long-experienced guitarist who has worked with Leo Ferre, Colette Renard, Cora Vauclaire, Roger Caussimon and a number of leading accordionists : Marcel Azzila, Jo Privat, Andre Astier & Jacques Valente. This album is full of stunning playing and covers a wide spectrum of the accordion tradition : café musette, chanson, waltz, Tango, swing jazz, Neopolitan, etc.
