The long-awaited fourteenth solo album of new songs by acclaimed British singer-pianist-songwriter, Paul Millns - with his trademark smoky soul voice and bluesy piano style. Norfolk-born Paul formed his first band ‘Sweet Thunder’ in the late 60’s, and subsequently toured the UK & the world in the bands of Alexis Korner, Eric Burdon, Louisiana Red, Bert Jansch and Jo Ann Kelly. Later as a solo artist, he opened for John Mayall, David Crosby, Murray Head, Ralph McTell and John Martyn.
For a while he was signed to Rocket Records, owned by Elton John, and toured solo in the US. He also built up a strong reputation in Europe, especially Holland and Germany. Elkie Brooks recorded his composition ‘’Too Much Between Us’’ for her hit album ’‘Pearls 2’’, and Bonny Tyler covered his song ‘’Forget Her’’ on her 1996 album ‘’Free Spirits’’. Paul has also often composed for films & TV and his music was also featured in a BBC arts documentary film 'Who painted the Skating Minister? ' directed by Jan Leman, and shown on BBC 2 in August. He has recently enjoyed writing together with long time friend Benny Gallagher of Gallagher and Lyle.
