Andreas Oberg is a young Norwegian guitarist whose virtuosity has already won him fans across the world and he is regarded by many as the leader of a whole new era of gypsy swing guitar. On this new Hot Club Records DVD he is joined Marian Petrescu (grand piano) Jorgen Smeby (double bass) and Robert Ikiz (drums) as they present 12 tracks, mostly composed by Oberg. The session was recorded live at Fasching, Stockholm on April 11, 2006, and is in PAL format. Bonus material includes an interview and an improvised solo guitar piece “Stompin’ At The Savoy”. Andreas Oberg has made 3 successful CDs for the Norwegian Hot Club label.
