A contemporary psychological thriller in which a young British couple travelling through the Australian outback become involved with a mysterious and charismatic American whose motive for imposing his friendship upon them becomes increasingly suspect and sinister. Cast in the three principals roles are Amelia Warner, Shaun Evans and Scott Mechlowicz.

The soundtrack, composed and performed by David Bridie, provides an atmospheric backdrop to a movie already steeped in its own gripping plot.

Directed by Ringan Ledwidge, ‘Gone’ is a Working Title production with cinematic release is set for Friday 9 March 2007, distributed by Universal Pictures International (UPI). It is likely that the film will touch mainly the arthouse cinemas.
