Georges Chelon is a long-established, well-respected French singer, songwriter & performer who has enjoyed a 40-year career and has made a similar number of albums. This new volume in Buda’s ‘Poems & Songs’ series features the work of famous French poet Charles Baudelaire (1821-1867). Baudelaire’s symbolist and imagery-soaked work was often marked by the details of his depressed state, as well as the effects of the drugs he took. Respected as a critic, Baudelaire was one of the first to debate the importance of Edgar Allen Poe. Baudelaire is best known for The Flowers of Evil.
