From the fresh thinking independent label Nublu based on New York City’s lower east side, the Love Trio are Ilhan Ersahin (sax, keyboards), bassist Jesse Murphy, and drummer Kenny Wollesen and together they make music that defies genre. Hitching up with Jamaican dub legend U-Roy was a return to early influences for Ersahin who likes to borrow from dub and rock steady beats when programming the various keyboards and electronica. Recorded in New York and mixed in Brazil “Love Trio in Dub” incorporates guest vocals from Marla Turner and Sabina Sciubba and the result is exotic, smooth, cool & salty like an ocean breeze.
