Horacio Molina is one of the greatest living tango singers. Inspired by Carlos Gardel, yet not a slavish imitator, he strips the form down to its bare bones, just voice and guitar, to produce a sound both sparse and passionate. This CD was recorded live in Buenos Aires 2005 and is elaborately packaged as a 3D pull-out tableaux which could sit happily on the mantelpiece.
