Since starring as Esmeralda in the musical Notre Dame de Paris in 1997 Hélène Segara has become a great favourite with French audiences. Though there have been plenty of hit singles, albums have been rare – this is only her fourth. Arranged by Jean Pierre Pilot, ex Indochine keyboard player, “Quand l’Eternité” reveals a more personal side of the singer but fans can be reassured: she is still mistress of the large romantic pop ballad.
