· Lowri Evans is a singer-songwriter from Pembrokeshire and “Kick The Sand” is her first English language CD, although she has recorded two English EPs previously.

· Her music is a blend of Folk, Alternative Country, Jazz and Blues, and the songs on this CD feature her creativity as a songwriter, and her unique voice is also an important part of this recording.

· Lowri also plays rhythm guitar, piano & harmonica on the album, and is accompanied by Lee Mason, on acoustic, electric and bass guitar & mandolin, who also co-produced with Wyn Jones and Lowri herself. Several other notable musicians appear, among them : Arran Ahmun, Nerys Richards, Henry Sears & Melt Kingston.
