Very little of the music of Brazilian composer Francisco Mignone has made it onto disc in the UK so far (but there is a recording of an orchestral piece conducted by Toscanini, no less). All that should change now, thanks to the brilliant Clélia Iruzun, to whom several of the pieces on this new CD were dedicated.
