· This digipak CD compiles the first two LPs by the Chubby Jackson big band for the first time ever on one disc. “Chubby’s Back” and “I’m Entitled to You”, both recorded in1957, in Chicago.

· The orchestra was obviously inspired by the Woody Herman Herds, in which many of the main performers on these sessions had played, including of course Chubby himself and the outstanding trombonist Bill Harris.
