• 'Insomnia' was created by Geir Jenssen (AKA Biosphere) as a commission for the soundtrack to a Norwegian film of the same name, which incidentally became an English language Hollywood remake to some international recognition.

• This work was only released in Norway at the time of the film, so this is its first international airing, which should be of interest to followers of Biosphere. It came after the first two albums, Microgravity and the hugely successful Patashnik (thanks partially to a wide Levi's Jeans ad campaign), and preceded the familiat 'Substrata, by which time Biosphere had built a fervent and growing following.

• 'Insomnia' contains shorter, more focused but still experimental tracks.
