• The Czech female a cappella quartet, The Yellow Sisters, were featured on episode 7 of Michael Palin’s ‘New Europe’ series, on BBC 1 - and there was a very strong, positive public response enquiring about the group.

• Palin chatted to one of the singers, the beautiful Bára Vaculiková, in Prague and they took a pedalo along the Vltava River. Later the group were seen performing at a castle outside Prague.

• “Singalana” is the Yellow Sisters’ impressive debut album, on which they adapt their own homeland musical roots with elents of soul, Afro-beat, jazz, reggae, funk, r’n’b and various world music.

• Their style is diverse, melodic, rhythmic, and feminine - at times powerful, at others, sweet & sensitive, but always soulful and captivating.
