But never in our more than 10 year history as a record label and djs have we seen such a reaction as we see when we play Familjen at our club. Indie girls and electro Boys all jump and scream to tracks like “Det Snurrar i min Skalle” and “Kom Säger dom”. It’s always the highligt of the evening.”

• Familjen is the name used for the solo electronic music projects of Johan T Karlsson. Stockholm-based Johan writes all the music and lyrics, plays all instruments, sings and produces. Live he is joined by fellow electronic artist Andreas Tilliander, playing machines.

• Johan started of hanging out in local studio Señorita in Hässleholm, becoming something of a house producer, recording all sorts of music just because he could.

• The music takes you back to the Haçienda days and the epic Detroit moments, but is also full of euroforia and pop power, with melodiec that will make you scream unconsciously.

• This spring see the worldwide release of Familjens debut album “Det Snurrar i min Skalle” The single also contains exclusive b-side track “Feber”.
