Jack Black and Danny Glover star in a comedy directed by Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind) involving a junkyard worker's magnetised brain, the destruction of the films in his friend’s video store and their hilarious attempts to remake the missing movies (including The Lion King and Robocop) themselves for the sake of a dotty old lady customer (Mia Farrow). The soundtrack is a homage to Fats Waller (the film was partially shot in the building where he was born) and features tracks from the man himself as well as new interpretations of his songs by Booker T. and the MGs and rapper Moss Def, who also appears in the film. Orchestrated and conducted with incidental links by musical director Jean-Michel Bernard (Science Of Sleep)

"Be Kind, Rewind" is released on the 22nd of February when 350 prints will be distributed to cinemas nationwide
