• Maynard Ferguson and Tony Scott are featured in two separate sessions at the 1968 Prague Jazz Festival, backed by Czech musicians. These performances are released on DVD for the first time.

• Ferguson’s set, with a 13 piece big band (plus 2 vocalists) includes Strayhorn’s “Take the A Train” and the trumpeter’s well-known version of “Maria” from West Side Story. At one point we see him walk away from the stage to drink a glass of wine !

• Scott performs an 11-min plus version of Ellington’s “Satin Doll”; 7-minutes of “Autumn Leaves” and a couple of his own compositions.
